A light blue Yoshi called Sapphire Turquoise azul (azul means blue in spanish)after her Sapphire scales strolled through the lush Emerald green grass with her green yoshi brother Brian. They ambled through acres of forest stopping every so often to scoff an apple. Suddenly the sky turned a violent shade of crimson all the residents of yoshi's Island gazed at the sky as a Bowser death ship appeared over the horizon. Bowser stomped over to the nose of the ship and glared down at the Island and it's resident and growled "Worthless waste of scales surrender to the power of Bowser the Lord of koopas or die!!" he threatened.
"You and what army Lord of the knuckle heads?" shouted a boisterous young yoshi. Bowser picked up whistle and blew is sounded like a ear splitting bird tweet. Automatically a hundred death ships rose over the horizon.
"Oh crud." muttered the yoshis as the shadows loomed over the Island.
"Muahahahaha"roared Bowser. All the yoshi aimed their eggs at the nose of the ship at the overgrown cackling turtle.
"Take THAT!!!!!" cried the Yoshis in unison as they hit the nose of the ship and sent it spinning over the horizon and Bowser's fleet trailing behind. Sapphire was no ordinary yoshi she had wings and the ability to fly and send enormous balls of fire down her enemies' path she had other powers she had yet to discover but only when she was ready so she plucked a feather from her wings and handed it to Brian as he grasped it he grew his own temporary wings . "We're going to see Rose ok?" she declared and launched herself into flight Brian flew after his wing beating furiously and after the flight past the mountains his wings disintegrated Sapphire tapped a unique pattern on the cave's entrance and a beautiful sugar pink yoshi appeared out of the darkness . " Rose hi we need to go after Bowser and foil his plans o the Yoshis will be wiped out!"
Rose tensed are you sure I know YOU have 851 lives I only have 31 Brian has 73 but I am not sure." So Sapphire produced from the shell on her back a sack of 1-up mushrooms Rose gave in and began to pack. Apples and eggs were crammed into her ruck sack. Brian bought the 1-UPs Fire flowers and Ice flowers. Sapphire bought rainbow stars Mega-mushrooms and feathers. Sapphire handed Brian and Rose a feather and the soared the ocean towards the Mushroom kingdom. Shortly after arriving the wings disappeared all the doors to the houses were firmly locked the trio walked quietly down the dusty track. "Somethings not right here, it's to quiet." said Sapphire in a small voice but it echoed as if she was talking at the top of her lungs.
"I Agree usually this place is filled with toads and busy stalls." whispered Rose in a voice so tiny the wind seemed to be louder then her own voice. "Over here!" cried a koopa as Brian and Rose tried to clamber up onto a roof after they spotted 100 Goombas and 500 Koopas. The Goombas ran forward knocking the rubbish bins over that they were standing on the slipped and fell. Sapphire who had already climbed onto the roof leaped off heroically and gave a hearty ground pound clearing the area where Brian and Rose were sprawled. Sapphire put on a fierce expression as she belched out some colossal balls of fire. The first line of Goombas disappeared in wisps of smoke. Brian and Rose got to their feet and latched their tongues to the roof and reeled themselves up . From her wings Sapphire created a 10 second blinding white electro field. Using this time to fly onto the roof she created an electric version of Rose, Brian and herself. The field cleared and the electric doubles remained the Goombas charged after the doubles and the doubles ran leading the whole army away. After the troop was a good mile away Sapphire made the doubles disappear. They knocked on the doors of all the citizens of the mushroom kingdom declaring the Goombas and Koopas gone and the Toads rejoiced in that and as they reached the end of the road all the Toads were once again out and about. A small yellow toad ran up to them with a bag dragging behind. " We are all grateful for what you have done take this as a symbol of our appreciation." Toad said with great emotion. He opened the bag revealing 100 speed mushrooms and 100 ballon mushrooms. The yoshi's took is gratefully and set off. Bowser's castle was across the sea 4 miles from the coast. Once again Sapphire drew a feather from her sack and Rose and Brian streched their wings and took off. Sapphire was at the lead creating mist with her power over the elements to disguise their approach as soon as they landed 200 Dry bones rushed to meet them Brian took the Ice flower Rose grabbed the fire flower. Rose roasted the Dry bones till they disintegrated, Brian froze them then ground-pounded them to dust while Sapphire simply grabbed them with her tail and crushed them. They walked through the corridors grabbing Koopa shells sending them zig-zagging down the hall stunning all enemies in their path walking past taking no second glance. They reached a grand room with a throne on which Bowser sat "Get out go back to your worthless Island or suffer a slow inhumane death!" he thundered.
They all took a menacing step forward."Guards GUARDS come NOW!!!" Cried Bowser.
Sapphire swung her tail forward and revealed a struggling koopa which she promptly hit on the head and crushed the shell with her tail. Bowser let out a growl as the flooring changed and raised them up above the tower.
"I will fight till the death and feed your carcass to the sharks and give your shoes to the K-koopas." stammered Bowser.
Sapphire grabbed a speed mushroom Brian snatched up a ballon mushroom while Rose snaffled up a rainbow star. Brian let out a gust of air and slammed into Bowser's feet sending him into the air. Glowing, Rose sent him up further with a nimble flick of her tail Sapphire finished him off with by spinning hitting smack in the face with her tail then ground-pounded him BLAM into the ocean Sapphire's momentum made her carry on sinking until she smacked her head against rock. Bowser was unconscious bobbing on the ocean like a duck then Sapphire's blood oozed to the surface they Rose held a ice-mushroom in her hand so did Brian and they had feathers attached and took the plunge they saw Sapphire's floating figure the blood made it obvious so they hauled her to the surface and transformed into ice-yoshi and they froze the ocean beneath their feet stretched their wings and took her back onto the platform. Rose produced a red coin from her bag laid it on Sapphire's fore head and the wound healed it self and the blood stopped seeping out. Sapphire stood up created a current of water lifting Bowser up then she created a ball of ice trapping him. One hundred death ships arrived at the scene the one at the front lead by Bowser Jr."Give me my Dad or kiss your tails goodbye!!!" growled Bowser Jr trying his best to look big scary and fierce-some but most of all intimidating.
"Get out of here I'll handle this!" cried Sapphire facing the ships without a trace of fear on her face. Brian rolled Bowser to the top of the stairs. Sapphire clicked the ball turned to diamond and Brian let it bounce down the winding stairs him close behind. Rose had a ballon-mushroom and she lowered herself using soft puffs. Sapphire was still speedy so she raised her arms a tsunami engulfing and destroying 5 ships. "Fire the cannons on my" mark. he paused "NOW!!!!!" he yelped.
Ten ships fired their missiles straight at her she deflected nine so they destroyed the ships that fired them and ate one. She laid an egg set fire to it then threw it at the tenth ship which exploded and knocked into ten other ships. "Lets finish this quick." said Sapphire simply and she focussed all her energy into her ultimate attack she stretched her arms out and a strange white energy formed in her hands and it became the size of a parachute spread out and hurled it at the remaining ships and they disintegrated and Bowser Jr leaped into the ocean before the light reached him. The light disappeared with a solar bang and left shimmering light wafting down. Sapphire glided down the stairs to find Rose and Brian waiting. Sapphire grinned and gestured them to sit on the diamond ball and hold hands and they teleported their selves back to Yoshi's Island. "What was the point of the journey!!!" cried Rose.
Sapphire smiled "Where would the mushroom-kingdom be now?" she asked wisely. Their arrival was known and the news spread and they welcomed Sapphire Rose and Brian back as their heroes.
